Edifying our spirit

The cornerstone for builders is the main stone on which the rest of the piece is built, it is thanks to this that the building stands. The inability to recognize it is what is referenced, and therefore the rejection of it. Jesus is the cornerstone that Peter refers to in this quote; that on which all is grounded.

If we spend time with Jesus, we open our heart to His teachings, and we maintain ourselves in prayer, we will see the fruits of being transformed from the inside out; we will be able to build in ourselves the values needed to live in peace. If we really lend importance to this spiritual search, we will occupy our time valuably and we will see our hearts illuminate themselves.
